Check, check, check

I have:

Found a caterer, booked her, and paid the deposit.
Found a photographer and paid the deposit.
Found a minister and paid him in full.
Made an appointment at the chapel to tryout pew decorations.
*Started planning Ayderbugs 4th Birthday!!!!*

Friday I will:

Go to the chapel.
Pick up my napkins.
Buy the rest of the plates for the wedding.
Pay the bakery for the delivery and cake stand rental.
Buy all the decorations for Aydens birthday party
Probobly pay for the rental of the pavillion for Aydens birthday!

I'm tired.

Aydens new wheels!

My mom bought Ayden a super early birthday present....a bike!! He's sooooo freaking proud of it and says he's speed racer with his lightning mcqueen helmet on...silly! He's so good with it too, he's super fast and loooves going over big bumps that his old red trike would have never made it over!

Care and P-Diddy

I met my little sister and her man in Irving today to get some pictures done! I wanted to work on my skills and they havent had their pictures taken together the whole time they've been together....soooo what better timing? (warning, lots of pictures)

I also did some maddd organizing this weekend, my closet is wedding central, I have big bins for everything. I finished the cake topper and worked on some bridesmaid-sister gifts ;-)

ahhhccomplishment

This was a wedding weekend! Friday we went dress shopping with my Grandma, Mom, Sarah and of course, Lela and Ayden in tow! We headed to lunch with Audra then to Denton to check out Bridalco.com, a discount bridal store, after trying on lots of dresses, we found *the one*! Of course we couldnt stop there though, we headed back to arlington and hit Davids Bridal and Alfred Angelo...we found a few "close ones" but in my opinion nothing that compared to the one in Denton. Sooooo we went back yesterday and my super Mommy bought it! :-D I feel sooo accomplished! While we were up there we also found some really cute bridesmaids dresses, they tried them on and they are perfect!!!

Also checked off the list this weekend is something that seems soo small, but was a big deal to me, I made the candy bar bags, but wasnt sure what to put those bags in to display them, I didnt want to just lay them on the table. I found a basket on sale at joanns for 5 bucks, dressed it up with ribbon and voila!

Also *kinda* done this weekend is my cake topper...I ordered a wooden "S" and what I thought was all the rhinestones I needed...I'm almost done and realize I'm out of rhinestones! So I ordered more yesterday and they should be here by wednesday!

Candyland

I made my candy bar bags! I bought 5 bags of of 25 "cake bags" from party city, so I had 125...well the printer and I had it out a few times, it ate about 28 of them, either it left big ink spots on the bag or the bag would jam leaving ink all over it....so I'll need to pick up a couple more bags, but after doing all those, I kinda got it down! I seperated them all with vellum so the ink doesnt transfer to the back side of each bag and bagged them all up!!! I'm really happy with how they turned out and they will be perfect for the candy bar!

I can tell all this wedding stuff is going to get really stressful! We ordered our cake she asked if we wanted to do a deposit or pay in full, we didnt even have to talk about it, we both quickly replied that we would pay in full cause we didnt want to deal with who we owe money, and when it's due! On the not so easy side...I ordered my cake topper, a lot of people had recommeded this guy cause he did great work, and shipped quickly, well a month and about 20 emails later I FINALLY got my topper, I already have the rhinestones to decorate it, so i'm ready to go! I also ordered my napkins, the guy said they would be done in a week and ready for pick up...i ordered them May 2nd...and I still havent heard anything....a-hole!

Sooo, that's all for today, we'll probobly head to the park for a little while later before it gets too hot out.

Uhpdate

Today we're headed to the bakery at 1130 to check out some wedding cakes..MmMmMmMmm! I'm mainly excited cause I get a mid-day Danny fix :-D...After that, Ayders and I will probobly hit up a park, maybe even go to the mall.

I'm getting super excited about the wedding, our "better-late-than-never" Engagement Brunch is June 1st, i've had a lot of fun planning that and the best part: Mimosas!!!! yummy! A old friend called Danny yesterday just to say what's up and to tell him how much it means to him that he's invited to our wedding! :-D

FIRST, Ayden and I worked on a project this week: An "Octopust" My mom had to dumb down the directions for me, but after that it was pretty easy.... He loved it for the first day, now it's just a dust collector that will probobly get thrown out, lol it was fun tho.

Last Friday we hit up the Air Hogs game, Ayden had a lot of fun and was actually really interested in the game, mainly mocking Daddy when he yelled at the umpire.

Wedding stooof

In a couple days it will officially be 6 months till the wedding! Wow!!! I've declared next week "Wedding Week"...since the Julians will be in Colorado, it will be just my Ayders and I all week, making it easier to run around town and get stuff done. Danny's taking a long lunch wednesday to meet us at the bakery I have chosen to discuss wedding cakes, and taste them too :-D

This weekend we are doing engagement pictures do make some E-Save-The-Dates, so be expecting that soon...So far that's all I have planned, I suppose we will make an appointment to go by the chapel to try out pew decorations...and we'll probobly spend some time doing Ayden oriented stuff!

Chew-Chew Train!

Yesterday seemed like such a long day, but i've kept on with my picture kick, I honestly think i've used my camera more in the last week then I have in the last 2 months!



For lunch Ayders had a Chew-Chew train sandwich, I had to stop at walmart after the gym in the morning and I saw some train cookie cutters and thought they were so cute! They were a big hit, he said "Mommy, you're excellent" lol





I cleaned up the kitchen after lunch and noticed we had a couple bananas going bad so I looked up a recipe for bananna bread....then I realized we didnt have any eggs or butter, so I searched for a recipe that didnt call for either of those....so, Ayden and I made Banana Bread!!!

Lazy Day!

I woke up this morning with a horrible headache...so that bascially meant I would have a headache all day, and I did. Poor Ayden, we didnt do much at all, I let him "play" on the computer for a little bit, he is pretty good with the mouse, so I open Paint, draw shapes for him and he picks colors from the color palet and fills in the shapes. Once he was tired of that he decided he wanted to "email" (type a bunch of letters and call it a email) It was really cute!

Sooo when I went outside to water flowers (I didnt know at the time it was going to rain) I noticed the rose bushes were FULL of buds about to bloom, so I grabbed my Camera!

We forgot to call parents yesterday to cancel soccer practice, so we went to even tho storms were coming, 2 people showed up, we played for a while and left when we saw lightening! We grabbed a pizza, came home, hung out and went to bed!
