Rooooad Trippp and Texas Pride

Friday, Danny got off work, we loaded up the wagon, battled the rain and headed to Austin...We stopped in Italy to get some Dairy Queen, heck yeah!! We finally made it to my Aunts house at about 10...

Ayden Was excited to see my cousin Lindsay

Saturday, we made it to San Antonio, had some lunch then hit Sea World, Ayden loved it but is a typical four year old....

Ayden stepped WAY out of his comfort zone and met Shamu...who he calls "shampoo"

Next we headed to the penguins. The whole week before our trip, he talked about two things, Seeing Lindsay and seeing Penguins!

Lindsay and Ayden took a ride on the ferris wheel...He loved it once it got going, when they were loading and had him stopped at the top for a while, he freaked....

The dolphins were amazing, Danny actually touched them!

That night we had dinner with my uncle, then Danny and I stayed in San Antonio and my mom took Ayden back to Austin with her. Sunday, we had lunch in Austin then headed back to Dallas, on the way, we took a detour home and found a *awesome* patch of bluebonnets, off the highway....so we took a bunch of pics then headed home for some much needed chill time!!!

I must say, I cant stand the meltdowns Ayden has, he can be so stubborn, but I absolutly love his personality...he constantly keeps me laughing and he can be so random and cute...while I was taking his pictures he would make different faces and say "this picture if for..." and name different people...the last one is for his cousin Kylie, I have no idea why, but he's just so funny! :D

Spoon Me

The other night, Danny asked me to hold him...I did, then he called me a Lazy-Spooner and told me I dont know how to spoon correctly, then proceeded to give me a 10 minute lecture on correct spooning techniques...so i guess now i'm a pro cause i've been through spooning 101.
Yesterday, I took Ayden and Lela to feed the fish at Lynn Creek Marina...it's one of Aydens favorite things to do and he's become pro at feeding those hideous fish, i mean seriously those things are nasty and they have no eating manners.

And Last, My baby is growing, sooo fast. He asked if he could try riding his bike with no training wheels, Danny took them off, then of course Ayden told him not to let go...I'm definetly not going to push him, in a way, I feel like those training wheels are the last little tiny part of him that is still little boy. ):

the easter bunny is my homie

I remember a few years ago it was snowing on easter...because this is texas, you always have to have a back-up plan, and I did! The easter bunny did a scavenger hunt through the house that started with the dishwasher and ended with a basket of goodies by the fireplace! I thought Ayden would like it, didnt know he would LOVE it, he got so into it!

I forgot about this. It's been a while, and we actually got married, lol!

So, since i've updated, Ayden started preschool, he loves it...and he's about to be out for summer which I'm excited about! We got married, the wedding was awesome, we took a three day trip as a family to Corpus and we had a blast...Ayden is about to start baseball, he talks about it almost daily...We have re-discovered our financial future which gives us big plans and not much of a social life, which is okay, becuase we are living like no one else, so later we can live like no one else ;-D

Soooo, in my quest to get better with photography i'll attempt to post frequent pictures!!! :-D

Today has been a lazy Saturday, which feels like a lazy Sunday with all of Dannys days he's had off. Before Ayden was born, both Danny and I worked at kroger, they put a bunch of boxes of legos on clearance for like $4 bucks, so we bought one for our future son...now, almost 5 years later, we busted out the teeny tiny devils in a box. They hurt like heck when you step on them but they are hella fun!
